The experience
At water level, the lake makes sense
Lake Victoria is 68,800 square kilometres of open water, shoreline, birdlife and silence. Most people drive past it. A few take a boat.
Kayaking puts you right on the surface — close enough to hear the birds, watch the fishing boats head out and see hippos at a safe distance. We run guided sessions directly from Kisumu, and morning slots are the best: flat water, cooler air, extraordinary light.

You don't need experience. Our guides introduce you to the water safely and at your own pace, starting close to shore. Experienced paddlers can ask for longer routes and open-water sessions.
